Characteristics

Hanex® 100% Acrylic Solid Surface is composed of Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) and Poly Methyl Methacrylate (PMMA) resin filled with Alumina-Trihydrate and other specialized formula to give it the timeless beauty and quality. We are one of few to have successfully developed the DBCU (Double Belt Casting Unit) process to produce superior products.

Fabrication

With its DBCU manufacturing process, the name Hanex® stands for quality and flexibility. Hanex® can be fabricated and installed using ordinary carpenter tools (with appropriate accessories), eliminating the need for expensive tools. Hanwha Surfaces, working with network of distributors and customer service agents can also provide training and technical support to the fabricators. Hanex® is only fabricated and installed by Certified Hanex® Fabricators to ensure product quality, expert installation, and the industry's best warranty.

Stability

Thermal Stability

Hanex® resists change in color and shape when heat is applied to the material from an outside source, including direct and indirect heat sources. Hanex® has been tested in the following thermal categories: (Thermal Stability Report)

Chemical Resistance

Stain Resistance

Resists stain from daily use. (Stain Resistance Report) Hanex® Products are non-porous material, NSF 51 Certified for Food Preparation surfaces, that can be applied in many applications where sanitation is utmost importance, such as Kitchen Countertops, Hospitals, Playrooms, Schools, and much more. Hanex® Solid Surfaces can be fabricated and installed in almost any application without visible seams, making Hanex® truly "Solid" in Surfacing materials. Hanex® reveals its flexibility and usability on integrated sinks and coved back splashes by combining beauty, design, and practicality.

Maintenance/ Repairs

Unlike other surfacing materials, Hanex® is non-porous and solid throughout the entire material. These features make Hanex® virtually maintenance free and repairable.
